HIKING: Marshall Road Open Spaces

Description

Marshall Road Open Spaces has a variety of trails totaling 7 miles just outside of Superior, Colorado. This area mostly has a desert feel and the trails run through wide open grassy plains providing beautiful views of the Flatirons. <br />
Some of these trails are open to mountain bikers so please be aware and share the path.

Directions

Heading South from Boulder on HWY 93, take a left heading East on Marshall Road. The trail parking lot will be on your right hand side. You cannot miss it. <br />Heading from Denver, take US 36 heading northwest until you get to the Superior/Layfette exit. On the off-ramp intersection take a left heading south. You will pass back over the high way and take a right at the intersection heading toward Wild Oats and Super Target. This Road will turn into Marshall Road. You will stay on this road heading west for about 5 miles. The Marshall Road turn off will be on your left after you pass the cattle range. If you hit HWY 93 you have gone to far. Turn around and look for the trailhead on your right.<br />
